For sink tops with three pre-drilled holes, you will need to measure the spacing from the center of the right hole to the center of the left hole. It will be either 8” (or greater) or 4”. For the 8” spread, you will require a widespread faucet, and for the 4” spread you will require a minispread (or centerset) faucet. Most widespread and minispread faucets include the drain and pop-up assembly.

For sink tops with a single pre-drilled hole, you can only use a single hole faucet. Unless noted otherwise, single hole faucets include the drain and pop-up assembly.

For a wall mount faucet, the plumbing will need to be set up prior to closing the wall behind the sink. Some brands require a separate rough valve to be placed in the wall. In those instances you will have the option of purchasing it along with the faucet. A drain is not included with a wall mount faucet.

For above the counter vessel sinks, you will require a wall mount faucet or a tall regular faucet (those are called vessel faucets). A drain is not included with a vessel faucet.
